## Description

Compagnia della Stella APS is a cultural association based in Ala, in the Trentino region of Italy, dedicated to historical reenactment and themed events. Its activities bring the past to life through costumed performances, educational demonstrations, music, dance and entertainment for families. The association focuses particularly on the medieval period from 1110 to 1300, offering engaging presentations on local history alongside activities such as learning about spices, historical weapons, archery, weaving and manuscript writing. It also stages Baroque-themed entertainment, including historical dances and dramatic performances in period costume, and takes part in Ala’s annual Città di Velluto event. For Halloween, the group creates fantasy-inspired events with family games, performances, music and fire dancing. Its seasonal offerings include Il Primo Presepe, inspired by Saint Francis of Assisi and developed with local musicians, as well as Christmas readings, musical events and dance performances. Compagnia della Stella also provides historical animation at locations including the Church of San Pietro in Bosco and participates in events throughout the area.
