## Description

The Company of the Red Wolf is a Florence-based social promotion association founded in 2005 by friends united by an interest in medieval history and historical fencing. It brings together training, historical research and public events, sharing its passion with visitors through demonstrations and hands-on activities. At its Sala d’Arme, members learn medieval combat techniques with sword and shield, and later polearms, developing skills gradually with an emphasis on safety. Beginners are welcome, and training weapons and protective equipment are provided. Sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 11 p.m. at the Dopolavoro Ferroviario in Florence.

The association also participates in historical reenactments across Italy, carefully recreating clothing, weapons, armor, camps and aspects of medieval daily life based on historical sources. Its services for festivals, schools, municipalities and other organizations include battles, duels, entertainment and educational presentations. At public events, visitors can learn about arms and armor, try on equipment under supervision, and pose for photographs in armor.
