Companio Bakery is a local artisan bakery that prides itself on offering high-quality and hand-made breads, pastries, and viennoiserie. Established in 2015 by celebrated artisan baker Russell Goodwin, the bakery began as a bicycle and trailer set-up at Victoria Station in Manchester, selling their delicious sourdough bread. In 2019, Neil Large, Phil Pryor, and Baneta Yelda acquired the bakery and have since taken it to greater heights. Baneta, an Assyrian Iraqi with a rich family heritage in baking, brings her unique flavors and traditions to the bakery. Neil, inspired by his son Sebastian and his desire to serve the community, believes in honest and authentic business practices. Companio Bakery continues to serve the local community with their exquisite range of breads, pastries, and more, emphasizing sustainability, quality, and the artisanal approach.
