## Description

Compassionate Friends is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comfort, hope, and support to families who have lost a loved one. Founded 50 years ago, Compassionate Friends was born out of the realization that the support grieving families gave each other was more powerful than any words a chaplain could offer. Today, the organization continues to offer highly personal assistance to families experiencing the death of a child, sibling, or grandchild. Compassionate Friends aims to ensure that everyone who needs their support can find them, and that everyone who finds them will be helped. They offer a wide range of resources and services, including local chapters, online communities, crisis hotlines, and family support programs. Additionally, they have a shop where you can find books and other helpful materials, as well as an online magazine and blog articles to provide further support and guidance. Through their compassionate approach, Compassionate Friends is there for families during their darkest times and helps them navigate the grieving process with support and understanding.
