## Description

Compassionate Hearts of Christ (CHC) is an Australian not-for-profit charity committed to reducing poverty and empowering disadvantaged young people through education. Registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission, CHC works with young people of all genders, nationalities and faiths, with a focus on supporting those in need in India and across Asia. Its approach is guided by empathy, compassion, accountability and transparency.

CHC provides educational assistance by helping fund school fees and supporting children from kindergarten through secondary studies. Donors can sponsor a child for a year or contribute according to their means. Contributions are paid directly to the selected educational institution, rather than passed through other channels, so support reaches its intended beneficiary.

The organisation also promotes “Youth for Youth,” encouraging young Australians to meet their peers in India, understand local needs and help monitor the use of donations and educational progress. Through these programs, CHC aims to expand access to learning, help young people pursue their ambitions and contribute to a more equitable, peaceful future.
