## Description

The International Complement Society (ICS) is a professional society dedicated to advancing complement research and development. It supports progress in the field by encouraging cooperative education, clinical applications, and professional standards, while bringing together researchers and other complement specialists. Through its membership program, the Society offers opportunities to connect with colleagues and access member benefits, with additional resources and activities for members.

ICS organizes scientific events, including virtual symposia and the International Complement Workshop, which convenes the complement community in locations around the world. Its website provides information about upcoming and past meetings, workshop programs, poster awards, and opportunities for exhibition and sponsorship. The Society also recognizes contributions to the field through awards for early-career excellence, research, training, and lifetime achievement. Members and visitors can find Society news, newsletters, job listings, and information about leadership, committees, and standards-related work. By supporting education, professional exchange, recognition, and clinical engagement, ICS helps foster collaboration and continued development across complement science.
