Computer CORE is a nonprofit organization based in Alexandria, VA. With a mission that dates back to 1999, Computer CORE has been dedicated to providing underserved adults with the necessary skills to achieve their career goals in the digital age. CORE's graduates emerge proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and keyboarding skills. They also receive guidance on resume building and cover letter writing, along with completing professional development classes. Operating on a lean budget driven by donations and grants, Computer CORE relies on the efforts of a dedicated team of full-time staff, interns, and volunteers.

The organization has distributed over 550 computers at no cost since March 2020 alone. With a strong commitment to inclusivity, over 99% of their students come from low-income households, and approximately 70% are women.
