## Description

ConceptoMed AS is a Norwegian company developing specimen-collection solutions for diagnostic testing. Its SampleSUITE™ product family is designed to make sample collection and transport more adaptable for microbiology and PCR workflows, including test-and-trace operations. The company’s approach combines existing specimen transport media with new collection devices, aiming to support high-quality diagnostics while making sampling more comfortable and straightforward.

The planned SampleSUITE™ range includes SalivaPOD™, StoolPOD™, and CapillaryPOD™, which are intended to enable self-collection without traditional swabs. The devices are designed for discrete collection, precise sample volumes and sample-to-media ratios, and closed transfer into inactivation media. ConceptoMed says these features are intended to improve user experience, safety, and compliance. The product family is developed in Norway, and its technology is owned by ConceptoMed and protected by granted and pending patent applications. Medical Wire & Equipment is identified as the first launch partner, with launches anticipated during 2025–2026. ConceptoMed also highlights quality assurance, research and development, and environmental, health, and safety policies as areas of its work.
