## Description

The Concussion & CTE Foundation is dedicated to supporting individuals impacted by concussions and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), including athletes and veterans. Formerly known as the Concussion Legacy Foundation, their mission remains centered on enhancing awareness, providing resources, and advancing research towards effective treatments and cures for these conditions. The Foundation offers a comprehensive HelpLine that connects individuals and families with experienced clinicians and provides access to peer support and various resources.

Their programs include education and advocacy initiatives aimed at preventing brain trauma, such as “Stop Hitting Kids in the Head” and “End CTE,” designed to foster safer practices in sports. The Foundation is also a key player in research efforts, notably through the UNITE Brain Bank at Boston University, which focuses on CTE and brain trauma studies. Committed to creating a safer future, the Concussion & CTE Foundation empowers those affected by these conditions with information, support, and community engagement.
