## Description

Conexus Baltic Grid is Latvia’s unified natural gas transmission and storage system operator. The company works with legal entities, including gas traders, to provide transmission and storage services under tariffs set by Latvia’s Public Utilities Commission. Its infrastructure supports the movement of natural gas through Latvia and enables certified traders to use the transmission system for commercial activity in Latvia and nearby regions.

A central asset is the Inčukalns underground gas storage facility, the only underground gas storage site in the Baltic states. It plays an important role in supporting reliable gas supply in Latvia and across the region. Conexus offers system users transmission and storage capacity services, alongside related information on tariffs, capacity booking, balancing, gas quality, and operational constraints.

The company also provides services connected with REMIT reporting, gas origin guarantees, and access to biometane injection points. Its development and sustainability initiatives include projects to improve regional gas connections, enhance the Inčukalns facility, and advance the Northern Baltic hydrogen corridor.
