## Description

**Road Safety at Work**

Road Safety at Work is a vital initiative dedicated to enhancing the safety of individuals driving for work or operating in roadside environments across British Columbia. Established in 2009, this program, funded by WorkSafeBC and managed by the Justice Institute of British Columbia, offers a wide array of free online tools and resources aimed at preventing work-related motor vehicle injuries and crashes.

The organization serves BC employers, supervisors, and employees by providing comprehensive services, including online occupational road safety resources such as toolkits and procedural templates, as well as training through webinars, workshops, and online courses. They also offer practical safety tools like RiskCheck™, SkillCheck™, and TripCheck™, along with advisory services to address road safety concerns.

Central to their mission is the commitment to fostering a culture of road safety, striving towards the vision of "Towards Zero," which aims to eliminate work-related fatalities and injuries on BC roads. Through their annual campaigns focusing on Work Zone Safety and Winter Driving Safety, Road Safety at Work actively promotes safer driving behaviors and stronger workplace safety practices.
