## Description

Confident Kidz is a children’s therapy service based in Bundaberg, supporting children aged 3 to 13 and the families who care for them. Its individual therapy and group skill-building programs help children develop social, emotional, cognitive, behavioural, self-care and fine motor skills. Services also include guidance and practical support for parents and carers, with NDIS-funded services available.

Sessions use engaging, play-based and sensory resources to help children practise new skills in a supportive environment. Confident Kidz draws on evidence-based practices and focuses on functional development, helping children build confidence and participate more comfortably in everyday activities and situations. Support may address social interaction, emotional understanding and management, problem-solving, resilience, behaviour challenges and positive family relationships.

The service takes a holistic approach, recognising the role of parents and carers in a child’s progress. Where possible, it collaborates with the child’s care team to encourage consistent, coordinated support. Confident Kidz aims to help children thrive while empowering families with strategies to support their development.
