## Description

The Asociación Española contra la Meningitis y la Sepsis (AEMS) is dedicated to raising awareness and fighting against meningitis and sepsis in Spain. Established in 2016, AEMS organizes vital events such as the II Congreso sobre Meningitis y Sepsis, scheduled for October 1, 2026, at the Hospital Universitario Infantil Niño Jesús in Madrid. This one-day congress will bring together patients, families, healthcare professionals, and institutional leaders to advance knowledge and strategies in prevention and treatment.

AEMS focuses on promoting vaccination and encouraging patient involvement in public health programs. The congress aims to share experiences, present recent research advancements, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration. Participants can join in person or watch online, ensuring wide accessibility. Alongside educational initiatives, AEMS supports families through various resources, advocacy campaigns, and fundraising efforts. With a commitment to transparency and community support, AEMS continues to make strides towards improved health outcomes for those affected by these serious conditions.
