## Description

Connect66 is a connected platform dedicated to bringing travelers, businesses, communities, and the history of Route 66 together. Designed for people exploring the Mother Road and those helping sustain its legacy, it combines five experiences: discovering, planning, experiencing, sharing, and preserving Route 66. Travelers can find events, local offers, attractions, historic sites, museums, murals, classic signs, and outdoor destinations along the route. The 66Journey planning experience lets users build personalized road trips from thousands of curated, geographically located stops, with options to add or remove destinations and choose restaurants and hotels. Connect66 also presents tools for navigating trips and finding nearby happenings, with mobile companion features described as coming soon. Through 66Stories, travelers can share photos, memories, and experiences tied to real places, and explore stories contributed by others. Its preservation resources include the 66Vault, an archive intended for historic photos, videos, documents, and personal recollections, alongside collections of Route 66 history and artifacts.
