## Description

CONNECTAS is a journalism platform that promotes the exchange of information on issues central to the development of the Americas. Its reporting explores politics, public policy, the environment, human rights, social issues, and regional geopolitics, with stories spanning countries across Latin America, the Caribbean, and the United States. The platform publishes analysis, investigations, special reports, and themed editorial projects, including its “Tenemos Que Hablar” and “Territorio CONNECTAS” sections. Coverage ranges from elections and leadership to migration, aging, conservation, and the effects of organized crime.

CONNECTAS also provides an English-language selection of its work, helping bring reporting from the region to a wider audience. Readers can explore country-based coverage, follow dialogues and events, and find information about the platform’s editors and recognitions. The organization invites audiences to join its #PeriodismoDeValor initiative, make contributions, and subscribe to its newsletter for notable stories about the Americas. Through its reporting and opportunities for participation, CONNECTAS connects journalism with public understanding of the region’s challenges and developments.
