## Description

The IUCN SSC CEC Behaviour Change Task Force is a conservation-focused group associated with the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s Species Survival Commission and Commission on Education and Communication. Its work centers on using insights from human behaviour to support conservation efforts. The task force shares guidance and resources intended to help conservationists understand and apply behaviour change approaches, including evidence-informed practices, ethical considerations and reflective working methods.

Its activities include workshops, publications and initiatives that connect behavioural science with conservation practice and policy. Topics featured on its website include aligning conservation with evidence, using behaviour change initiatives to strengthen policy measures, and mainstreaming behaviour change within conservation. The task force also publishes a monthly newsletter, Behavioural Insights for Conservation, for readers who want updates on its work and related developments. Through its news, resources and member network, the task force provides a platform for exchanging ideas and supporting the practical use of behavioural insights in conservation.
