## Description

Consortya is an online multiplayer role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by indie studio Moonlight Games, LLC, blending musical themes with fantasy adventure and social play. Players take the role of “balancers,” who use magical abilities infused with musical influences as they battle the Qualmish Empire, described as an evil record label run by monsters. Gameplay includes combat, exploration, and collecting hidden songs from upcoming performers, alongside opportunities to earn new dance moves and magical attacks.

A central feature is the game’s social spaces, where real musical artists are intended to perform live. Consortya brings together gaming and live music, with adventure and combat supporting that broader experience. The project is designed and developed by Andy Martin, whose previous work includes games and mobile apps, including the award-winning music app Ditty by Zya.

The site reported that Consortya was in early private beta in August 2020, with seven dungeons, a concert venue, a mini stage, and two Steam achievements.
