# Contender Athletics - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `contenderathletics.org` ## Description Contender Athletics is a youth basketball training organization focused on player development, athletic performance, and personal growth. Its coaching approach emphasizes hard work, discipline, and helping athletes build skills at their own pace while striving to improve. Programs serve players from kindergarten through high school, with age-based sessions, single classes, and multi-session packages. Training covers core fundamentals and situational development through hands-on coaching, skills and drills, ball handling, shooting form, layups, body mechanics, and controlled scrimmages. The Future Contenders program introduces younger players to basketball in a fun, safe learning environment. Older athletes can join skills sessions organized by grade level, while travel teams and seasonal programs are also listed. Contender Athletics additionally offers three-month performance nutrition plans led by coach Daniel Mattson, B.S., NASM-CPT. The MASS plan supports lean muscle and strength goals, while the LEAN plan focuses on agility and maintaining muscle as body fat decreases. Both include a one-on-one kickoff, biweekly video check-ins, direct coach access, and guidance on fueling, hydration, and youth-appropriate supplements. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Basketball _(under Sports)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/61554383281464) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/contender.athletics) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/iddbirQsIf/w/1120/h/296/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793205603619) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/iddbirQsIf/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793205603792) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Tussock | #b88744 | accent | | Cod Gray | #161616 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Play — asset _(google)_ - Jost — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
