## Description

COOL TO BE ME provides Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) solutions designed to support the whole school community, including educators, learners and parents. Its approach aims to bring evidence-based SEL practices into children’s everyday lives at school and at home through accessible training courses and curriculum resources. The school programme offers an experiential curriculum for learners in Grades 1 to 7, generally ages 6 to 13, with learning activities focused on personal development, wellbeing and social-emotional competencies. For educators, the organisation provides a SACE-accredited continuing professional training and development course, also available to coaches and child practitioners. COOL TO BE ME @ Home supports parents and children aged 5 to 10 in exploring SEL together, while online courses extend learning to educators, parents and children. The organisation also offers SEL information and resources for different school phases, alongside short courses. Its stated goal is to encourage meaningful conversations, strengthen self-awareness and emotional skills, and foster positive relationships across home and school settings.
