## Description

Cooperline is an online gallery created by David Paul (DP) Cooper to preserve and share the transport photography and artwork of three generations of the Cooper family, originally from the North West of England. The site brings together the railway photographs of David’s grandfather, Wilfred D. Cooper, the transport art of his father, G. S. “Sid” Cooper, and selected artwork by David himself.

The W. D. Cooper gallery features more than 2,500 photographs of UK railways, taken between 1932 and 1968, primarily by Wilfred, with some images by his brother Dennis. The G. S. Cooper collection presents more than 250 gouache paintings depicting buses, trams, trolleybuses, commercial vehicles and railway scenes. DP Cooper’s gallery offers reproductions of David’s artwork, while information about original works is available through his separate art website.

Visitors can browse the collections or search for specific images. Reproduction prints are available to purchase directly from the galleries, and visitors can contact Cooperline with questions.
