About
Description
Corcoran Neighborhood Organization (CNO) is a grassroots organization established in 1975 to improve and protect the Corcoran neighborhood in Minneapolis. Their mission is to unite neighbors and strengthen the community, while their vision is to create a place that fosters leadership, engagement, and a sense of belonging. CNO serves the area bounded by East Lake Street, East 36th Street, Hiawatha Avenue, and Cedar Avenue.
As a non-partisan information source, spokesperson, and advocate for the community, CNO engages residents on issues that impact the neighborhood. They empower residents to advocate for their neighbors and invest in the neighborhood's future. CNO offers various programs and initiatives, including crime prevention, community gardens, senior connections, and the Midtown Farmers Market.
They also facilitate housing resources and neighborhood care. The organization encourages Corcoran residents to become members, allowing them to participate in decision-making processes to shape the community's future. Everyone is welcome to attend CNO meetings and events.
Contact CNO at 3451 Cedar Ave South, Minneapolis, MN 55407, or call 612-724-7457. Let's unite and strengthen our community with Corcoran Neighborhood Organization
