## Description

Cork Summer Show is an annual agricultural and family event organised by the Munster Agricultural Society, a non-profit established in 1805 to promote agricultural, industrial, educational and scientific pursuits across the Munster region. Held at the Cork Showgrounds in Curraheen, the show brings together farming, food, competitions and entertainment for visitors of all ages. The 2027 event is scheduled for 19 and 20 June, with public opening hours from 9am to 6pm each day.

The programme features livestock and equine competitions, showjumping, horticulture, poultry, sheep, vintage displays, arts, crafts and baking, alongside family activities, a fun dog show and trade stands. Visitors can consult competition information, schedules, results and show catalogues, including historical editions. The event also offers sensory hours from 9am to 11am on both days. To help visitors reach the grounds, Cork Summer Show promotes the 208 bus service and free Park and Ride options. Through its competitions, exhibits and public attractions, the show celebrates regional agriculture while offering a varied day out.
