## Description

Cornwall Breathers is a charity that supports people diagnosed with long-term lung conditions, including COPD, by promoting mutual support and raising awareness. It grew from a self-help group established in 2006 by seven people who wanted to maintain the benefits of NHS pulmonary rehabilitation. With NHS support, the group expanded, offering regular opportunities to share experiences and take part in gentle exercise. Its development also helped inspire similar groups in towns across Cornwall.
