## Description

Cornwall Golf is the county organisation dedicated to leading and supporting the sustainable growth of golf in Cornwall through strong governance, inclusive participation and performance development. It connects and supports affiliated golf clubs across the county, sharing information, coordinating events and providing resources for players, clubs and volunteers.

The organisation runs a broad programme of county competitions for men, women, seniors and juniors, alongside club events, leagues and team championships. It also selects and supports county teams, including women’s, men’s, senior and junior squads, and offers development opportunities through county coaches, academy programmes and player pathways. For people new to the sport, Cornwall Golf promotes access initiatives such as Get Into Golf and Golf Sixes.

Its club-support services include workshops and guidance on volunteering, the Rules of Golf, handicapping and course rating, with links to England Golf and the Golf Foundation. The website also provides competition calendars and results, news, county cards and a live leaderboard, helping members follow activity throughout Cornwall’s golf community.
