Corry Higher Education Council (Corry Hi-Ed) is a non-profit organization established on May 31, 1991, in Corry, Pennsylvania, to address the lack of adult education and workforce training opportunities in the area. It is one of the nine Community Education Councils (CECs) in the state that primarily serves rural and educationally under-served communities. Corry Hi-Ed offers a range of programs and resources to meet the community's educational needs.

Their offerings include computer training, personal enrichment courses, and the Corry Regional Leadership program. Additionally, they provide essential workforce training such as welding, machining, and Pennsylvania Vehicle Inspection license classes through a partnership with Corry Area High School's Career & Technical Center. Corry Hi-Ed collaborates with other educational institutions and organizations like the Northern Pennsylvania Regional College, Manufacturer & Business Association, and Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit to offer a diverse range of programming.

The organization has received funding from the state, local manufacturers, businesses, and charitable foundations such as the Arlene H. Smith Charitable Foundation, Corry Community Foundation, and the David Nichols/Corry Savings Bank Trust of the Northwest Bancorp Charitable Foundation. Corry Hi-Ed has transformed the historic Hotel Corry building, purchased in 1991, into the Bruce and Arlene Smith Education Center, complete with classrooms, computer labs, and office space.

Led by dedicated professionals, including Matthew Platz as the Executive Director, Corry Hi-Ed's team strives to provide quality education and training opportunities to enhance the lives of individuals and the community as a whole. Located at 221 North Center Street, Corry, PA, Corry Hi-Ed operates Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM, Fridays from 8 AM to 3 PM, and also offers evening hours, although they may vary.
