## Description

Corso Vollenhove is the organisation behind an annual flower parade and community celebration in Vollenhove, Overijssel, the Netherlands. Its event brings the town to life with towering floats decorated with hundreds of thousands of dahlias, created by local float-building groups. The programme includes a children’s parade, an afternoon procession and an illuminated evening parade, accompanied by marching and show bands, music and street entertainment.

Visitors can also enjoy the Food & Flowers Festival, featuring food trucks, refreshments and live music, alongside activities and entertainment for children. Corso Vollenhove provides practical visitor information, including programme details, route and accessibility guidance, accommodation information and ticket sales. The website also offers updates, results, a livestream and recordings for people who cannot attend in person.

Rooted in a long-standing local tradition, the event is recognised as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, with the national listing dating to 2013 and inclusion on UNESCO’s representative list in 2021. Corso Vollenhove welcomes families and visitors to experience the region’s floral artistry, creativity and festive atmosphere.
