## Description

Corso Sint Jansklooster is a community-led flower parade and festival in the village of Sint Jansklooster, centered on spectacular “dahlia giants” that travel through the village centre. The event is created by local volunteers and brings residents together throughout the year. Its community spirit received national recognition when the corso was voted the best public event in the Netherlands in 2023.

The programme features an afternoon parade, an illuminated evening parade, and a corso festival. During the parades, the large displays make two laps through the village centre; after dark, lighting creates a distinctive, storybook atmosphere. The festival transforms the village centre into a lively gathering place, with the dahlia giants on display.

Visitors can order tickets, explore programme details, view designs and photos or videos, and find practical information, including accommodation guidance. The website also shares news, results, sponsor information, and details about the organisation’s passion and history. Corso Sint Jansklooster offers visitors a chance to experience local creativity, floral spectacle, and the collective effort of a close-knit village community.
