## Description

CorVita is a small residential home for children and young people, based in Boeslunde in western Zealand, near Slagelse. Its name means “heart life” and reflects the organisation’s vision of fostering joy in life through compassion and professional expertise. CorVita supports residents aged 5 to 17 who have intellectual disabilities and developmental disorders within the autism spectrum, and who need substantial social-pedagogical support.

The home aims to provide a safe, welcoming and home-like environment where children and young people can experience stability, wellbeing and development. Its approach places strong emphasis on building trusting relationships. Staff are described as open and empathetic, helping each resident feel seen, heard and understood. CorVita believes positive experiences with adults can create the trust and security that support personal growth.

The residence is located on a renovated former country estate, with spacious surroundings and nearby woodland and beaches. CorVita provides residential care and works with municipalities and caseworkers on admissions, placement and rates. The home is approved under Denmark’s Child’s Act, section 43.
