## Description

Combining scientific understanding with practical engineering expertise, the company helps organisations turn complex measurement questions into dependable data and informed decisions. Its work supports Earth and environmental monitoring, space exploration, scientific research, emerging medical technologies, and the integrity of infrastructure and industrial systems.

cosine designs mission-specific solutions across three specialised domains: Remote Sensing, High-Energy Optics, and Inspection Systems. Projects can span the full development process, from defining measurement requirements and calculating system performance to building, testing, and validating the finished solution for demanding conditions. The company’s work includes instruments such as TSCOUT, a high-resolution multispectral thermal infrared imager for global temperature monitoring, and HyperScout 2, a hyperspectral imager for space. It also develops Laue lens technology relevant to radiotherapy and astrophysics. Through its measurement systems and close collaboration with partners, cosine addresses situations where direct observation is difficult or impossible, helping deliver reliable insight for scientific discovery, environmental resilience, and technological progress.
