## Description

Cosmocat is a Canadian game studio creating independent games across action, adventure, platforming, and horror genres. Its catalog pairs retro-inspired gameplay with modern features, including roguelike systems and varied experiences from one playthrough to the next. Current and featured projects include Astral Flux: Origins, an action-adventure prequel for Game Boy Color that explores the backstory of a character from Astral Flux, and Astral Flux, an action-platformer set across hostile alien planets. The studio also develops Super Rocket Ride, a retro-inspired action game, and TOXICANT, a survival horror title with randomized levels and roguelike elements, available on Steam for PC. Other releases include Brainmelter Deluxe, a platform game available on PC and Android; Cosmic Ray, a casual space-exploration game for PC; and Operation Hardcore, a 2D side-scrolling shooter available on PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch. Beyond games, Cosmocat offers downloadable creative assets, including a collection of tropical fish for use in games or projects and a 25-track ambient music pack on the Unity Asset Store.
