## Description

Cosumi is a web platform dedicated to all Go (囲碁) enthusiasts, offering a free computer Go game and beginner-friendly tutorials on the rules of Go. The name Cosumi comes from the term for making a diagonal move next to one's own stone in Go. The Go game on Cosumi operates using a unique early game database and a combination of three thinking engine software: KataGo, GNU Go, and Fuego. These software are freely available for anyone to download and use, with KataGo being the most recommended for its high playing strength. For those interested in trying KataGo, it is suggested to use the user-friendly GUI software called KaTrain. More information on GNU Go and Fuego can be found on the website. Additionally, there is a separate thinking engine called white shade created by the developer of Cosumi. The rules of Go followed on the platform are the commonly known Japanese rules, unless otherwise specified on specific pages. Furthermore, some game records are stored on the server and may be used for Cosumi's development or made publicly available. Please be aware that Cosumi uses Google Analytics for website traffic analysis and Google AdSense for advertising delivery. These services may utilize third-party cookie functionality in your browser, which can be disabled in your browser settings. Refer to the provided links for more details on Google's policies. For any feedback or questions about the platform, please refer to the FAQ page or leave a comment on the developer's blog. Feel free to mention or link to Cosumi in the media without requiring permission. However, note that displayed ads on the platform are not under Cosumi's control. In addition, the developer of Cosumi has created other websites, such as an online dictionary for Go terms, a web app for identifying moss species, and a 60-second English vocabulary test. These resources are also available for your use.
