## Description

Cottonwood Grove Stables is a horse-friendly holiday and riding destination in Giffard West on Victoria’s Central Gippsland Coast. Set in a quiet rural location, it welcomes individual visitors and groups looking to spend time with their horses, whether for a weekend, a week or longer.

Guests can stay in a self-contained bunkhouse that sleeps up to 16 and includes bunk beds, sofa beds, a single bed, a loft, two bathrooms, a kitchen, laundry, heating, air conditioning and a large barbecue. Horse facilities include separate post-and-rail yards, shared paddocks, a full-sized stable, an undercover hot-wash and tack-up area, and an undercover full-sized arena.

The stables accommodate riding clubs and host visiting clinicians, with facilities available for hire. Guests may arrange a local instructor or bring their own. Nearby riding opportunities include the trails of Mullungdung State Forest, about three kilometres from the bunkhouse, and beach rides at McGauran Beach. Cottonwood Grove Stables offers a relaxed base for equestrian stays, group activities and exploring the surrounding coast and bushland.
