## Description

The Council for Economic Education (CEE) is dedicated to promoting and supporting the widespread teaching of financial literacy and economics to K-12 students. Their mission is to equip students with the tools and knowledge of personal finance and economics, empowering them to make better decisions for themselves, their families, and their communities. CEE offers a range of programs and resources for teachers, students, and families. For teachers, they provide training, free quality resources, and programs like the Educator Conference. Students can participate in programs like the National Economics Challenge and the National Personal Finance Challenge, acquiring critical life skills. CEE also aims for full national coverage, advocating for more and better education in personal finance and economics. They strive to ensure that every student has access to at least one personal finance and one economics course before they finish high school. With a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, CEE fosters a culture that celebrates the perspectives of its diverse staff.
