## Description

The Data Foundation is dedicated to providing critical insights and information through its COVID Impact Survey, initiated to address the pressing data gap regarding the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. This comprehensive survey gathers data on various aspects, including physical and mental health, economic security, food security, and employment metrics, empowering policymakers and the public with essential information for informed decision-making.

Conducted by NORC at the University of Chicago, the COVID Impact Survey complements existing efforts like the Census Bureau's Household Pulse Survey. It aims to deliver reliable and actionable data without any associated costs to users, ensuring public access to the findings. Data is made available in open, machine-readable formats to foster further research and analysis.

With financial backing from reputable organizations such as the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, the Data Foundation continues to seek contributions to expand its data collection efforts. Join our efforts to illuminate the pandemic's impact and inform future actions through valuable data.
