**COVID.gov** is an official U.S. government website dedicated to providing essential resources and updated information about COVID-19. Established by the Department of Health and Human Services, the site offers a streamlined platform where users can access vital testing information, including the distribution of at-home COVID-19 tests. Since its launch, the COVIDtests.gov program has successfully distributed over 870 million tests to American households, ensuring that both insured and uninsured individuals can obtain necessary testing.

The website enables users to order at-home rapid antigen tests, which yield results within 30 minutes, making it convenient for testing symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals. In addition to testing, COVID.gov provides guidance on reporting results, utilizing resources for immediate testing needs, and information on low- or no-cost testing locations. With its mission to improve public health safety, COVID.gov also encourages community involvement and offers a comprehensive FAQ section to address common misconceptions surrounding COVID-19.
