## Description

Champions for Vaccine Education, Equity, and Progress (CVEEP) is a vital initiative committed to advancing public health through comprehensive vaccine education and equitable access to healthcare. Convened by the Alliance for Aging Research, HealthyWomen, and the National Center and Caucus on Black Aging, CVEEP unites over 250 organizations dedicated to addressing the challenges posed by infectious respiratory diseases, particularly in diverse communities disproportionately impacted by these illnesses.

CVEEP advocates for the importance of vaccination against respiratory diseases, including COVID-19 and influenza, highlighting the role of vaccines and antiviral treatments in mitigating severe illness and promoting community health. The organization emphasizes the gold-standard review process for vaccine development in the U.S., ensuring safety and efficacy through rigorous testing and ongoing monitoring.

Through educational resources, community engagement, and efforts to counter misinformation, CVEEP strives to build confidence in the vaccination process and improve access to essential treatments, ultimately fostering a healthier and more equitable society for all.
