## Description

COVIP, the Commission for the Supervision of Pension Funds, is Italy’s public authority responsible for overseeing supplementary pension schemes. Its website serves pension fund operators, pension institutions and the public, providing regulatory information, supervisory guidance, statistics and educational resources. For operators, COVIP publishes rules and instructions, reporting requirements, technical manuals, operational clarifications and information on costs, returns and cross-border activity. It also maintains the register of pension funds and provides updates on regulatory changes and supervisory procedures. For citizens, the site offers introductory guides, thematic resources, infographics, frequently asked questions and a glossary to explain supplementary pension provision. Visitors can compare pension fund costs, consult published returns and find guidance on submitting complaints or reports to the Commission. COVIP also shares annual reports, research, public communications, consultation materials and data on pension funds and social security institutions. Through these resources, the Commission supports transparency and informed understanding of supplementary pensions while carrying out its public oversight role.
