## Description

COVIVID is an interdisciplinary medical network in Germany focused on post-acute infection syndromes (PAIS), including Long COVID and Post-Vac conditions. Since January 2023, its outpatient network has cared for patients through practices in locations including Berlin, Hamburg, Bochum, Bonn, Dachau, Usedom, Varel, Kleinmachnow and Burgdorf. The network brings together 29 physicians and collaborators across specialties such as general medicine, cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, immunology, pain medicine, nutrition and rehabilitation.

COVIVID offers assessment and care through a shared, multimodal treatment approach developed with family physician Ulrike Leimer-Lipke. Its work addresses the varied functional problems that may affect areas such as cells, blood vessels, the gut, muscles, nerves and immune function. The network also works to refine diagnostic methods and develop treatment modules, including approaches relating to mitochondrial and autoimmune concerns. Because PAIS care still relies partly on experience-based therapies, COVIVID notes that results cannot be guaranteed. Its aim is to support patients through individualized care while continuing to learn and develop new treatment approaches.
