- **Website:** <https://cprandaed.ca>
- **Primary alias:** `cprandaed.ca`

## Description

St Mark James provides CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) training designed to help people respond to cardiac emergencies. Its courses combine instruction in current CPR techniques with practical AED training, covering topics such as AED operation and troubleshooting, rescue breathing, scene assessment, and CPR complications. Stand-alone options include CPR Level A, Level C, and CPR for health care providers (HCP); Level B is offered with child care first aid courses. The site also lists first aid and CPR, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support training.

Course length depends on the level, ranging from about three hours for Level A to as many as seven hours for HCP. Participants complete a multiple-choice test and need a score of at least 75 percent to pass. The site states that successful candidates receive certification upon course completion, with awards valid for three years and recognized across Canada. St Mark James connects learners with training providers in cities across Canada, and offers re-certification for people renewing an expiring award.
