About
Description
Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons (CPS-ECP) is a national, non-profit boating organization dedicated to educating and training recreational boaters in Canada. With a history dating back to 1938, CPS-ECP offers a wide range of courses and seminars for boaters of all levels, including the Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) and the Maritime Radio Course for VHF Radio Certification. Whether you prefer self-study online courses, instructor-led virtual classes, or in-person classroom sessions, CPS-ECP has you covered.
The PCOC card program, issued only in Canada, is accepted by the US Coast Guard. By joining CPS-ECP, boating enthusiasts gain access to insurance discounts, local events, and exclusive course discounts. And by supporting CPS-ECP through membership, individuals contribute to the continued growth and development of boating education programs across the country.
CPS-ECP is driven by a vision to inspire others to adopt a safe boating attitude through education and training, prioritizing safety, education, community, and the environment
