## Description

**Crab Fat Magazine**

Crab Fat Magazine, established in 2014, is a literary journal dedicated to showcasing diverse voices and perspectives through poetry, prose, and visual art. Founded from a desire to respond to social injustices, particularly anti-trans bigotry, it has provided a platform for marginalized writers and artists over its six-year run. The magazine features a rich array of content, including flash fiction, short stories, creative nonfiction, and interviews, alongside monthly and quarterly issues that engage with contemporary issues through creative expression.

While Crab Fat Magazine ceased regular publication in May 2020, it remains committed to preserving its archive online, ensuring that its collection of powerful narratives and artwork continues to inspire and connect with future readers. Additionally, its sister press, Damaged Goods, actively accepts submissions from queer and trans writers, nurturing the literary community that Crab Fat has fostered. The magazine's legacy lives on as it champions artistic innovation in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
