## Description

CraftHub is a progressive European initiative co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme that champions the significance of craft within cultural heritage and its contemporary applications. The project’s core mission is to investigate and document traditional craft skills and processes, showcasing their diverse utilization across Europe. Through an engaging program, CraftHub facilitates the creation of innovative craft works and experimental investigations, supported by 42 transnational maker residencies, extensive outreach efforts totaling 305 days, as well as a vibrant festival, multiple exhibitions, and conferences.

A key feature of CraftHub is its commitment to establishing a Digital Repository, which includes a material library and multimedia content aimed at preserving at-risk and lost craft skills. The initiative also seeks to explore and highlight cultural and transnational differences in attitudes toward craft. Collaborators include esteemed institutions like Carlow County Council, University of Wales, and Craft Scotland, among others, ensuring a rich tapestry of expertise and insight in revitalizing and preserving craft heritage.
