## Description

Cranston Cares is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making positive, equitable improvements throughout the Cranston, Rhode Island community. Guided by its motto, “HOPE: Help Other People Everyday,” the organization brings residents together to turn compassion into practical support and lasting community change. Its work includes initiatives that assist individuals and families, encourage volunteer service, and strengthen shared neighborhood spaces.

Cranston Cares organizes activities such as toy drives, park cleanups, and community improvement projects, including work to refresh the exterior of a historic library. Its outreach also supports people facing hardship: events have provided meals, clothing, and haircuts, while a Thanksgiving initiative serves neighbors in need. The organization has also distributed turkeys to members of the homeless community and collected toys for local families, with support from donors, volunteers, and community partners.

Cranston Cares welcomes community involvement through volunteering and donations. It shares local news and upcoming events, helping residents find ways to contribute and connect throughout the year.
