Creating Young Minds (CYM) is a non-profit organization based in Lake Dallas, Texas. Established in 2011 by Dr. Shira Ackerman, Mathis Crowder, and Charley Brown, CYM aims to transform the lives of young men by using basketball as a platform to teach valuable lessons and foster personal growth.

The organization focuses on teaching, grooming, and developing young athletes into well-rounded individuals. CYM offers various programs and services to achieve its mission. The CYM Undiscovered League (CYM UL) is a professional basketball league that provides opportunities for former, current, and aspirin-g professional players to compete at a high level and showcase their skills in front of scouts, owners, general managers, and sports agencies.

Additionally, CYM offers the CYM Academy and CYM UL Youth Program, allowing younger players to train and play alongside professional basketball players in the CYM Undiscovered League. Education is given top priority at CYM, with all student-athletes required to maintain a minimum GPA of 3. 0.
