## Description

CREDI, the Center for Development Evaluation and Social Science Research, is an independent, nonprofit and nonpartisan think tank based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It works to strengthen evidence-based policymaking in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkans through high-quality evaluations, social science research and support for research capacity. Its work focuses on areas including education, labour markets, migration and social policy, using contemporary methodological approaches to assess programmes, policies and projects and provide practical recommendations.

CREDI offers evaluation and policy research services to clients in the nonprofit, public and private sectors, supporting projects at different stages. It also provides tailored training for evaluators and policymakers. Its activities include primary data collection and university tracer studies, alongside research reports, working papers, publications and evaluation resources. The organization also supports data preservation and access through DASS-BiH, a national archive for quantitative and qualitative social science research data, and develops tools such as BiHMOD, a microsimulation model for analysing potential tax and social benefit reforms.
