## Description

The Fall Colors Car Show and Airplane Fly-In is an annual automotive and aviation event in Creede, Colorado, celebrating classic vehicles, autumn scenery, and community gathering. The event invites car enthusiasts to travel through the Upper Rio Grande’s fall colors before arriving in Creede, where visitors can stroll among vintage cars, enjoy music from the 1950s through the 1980s, and vote for their favorite entries. Activities include vehicle registration, a Friday evening picnic barbecue, Saturday’s Show and Shine and awards, and a Rod Run to the North Clear Creek Falls overlook, followed by burgers at Freemon’s General Store. The weekend concludes with a Sunday morning breakfast and airplane fly-in at Mineral County Airport, where visiting aircraft provide entertainment for attendees. Held on the third Saturday of September, the event offers a full weekend of activities for car fans, families, and aviation enthusiasts. The Fall Colors Car Show provides online car registration and recognizes sponsors who help support the gathering.
