## Description

Crescere Insieme A.P.S. is a nonprofit social-promotion association based in Bologna, Italy. It works to support civic, social-solidarity and community-benefit goals through ongoing activities for children, young people and families. Its programs combine sport, learning and cultural engagement, with an emphasis on personal growth as well as athletic development.

The association offers judo classes for children and teenagers, led by teacher Paolo Checchi, who is described as having 40 years of teaching experience. It also provides adapted physical and motor activities for people with disabilities, helping participants engage in movement and exercise. For primary-school children, the organization runs a homework-support service by appointment, and it arranges free introductory judo sessions for children attending Estate Ragazzi.

Crescere Insieme A.P.S. also organizes cultural initiatives and presents publications, including Paolo Checchi’s book, Storie di un papà maestro. Proceeds from the book’s sale are donated entirely to the association. Classes take place at its gym on Via Olindo Guerrini 25, in a facility inaugurated in 2019.
