## Description

CREST Cancer Support is a local charity serving people affected by cancer in Runnymede, Elmbridge, Spelthorne and surrounding areas. Its support extends beyond patients to include their families and carers, recognising that cancer can affect the whole family. The charity is run entirely by volunteers, who contribute their time and expertise.

CREST offers supportive therapies and opportunities for members to connect and enjoy shared activities. These have included Reiki sessions, afternoon teas and seasonal wreath-making. The organisation also signposts people to additional wellbeing and practical resources, such as relaxation and breathing exercises, seated exercise guidance, free yoga classes, and information about questions to ask a consultant. Members can also find links to equipment and technology support for disabled and older people, as well as free skincare and make-up workshops through Look Good Feel Better.

Through its volunteer-led approach, CREST aims to enhance the lives of cancer patients and those who care for them, offering community, information and supportive activities. It is a registered charity based in Staines-upon-Thames, Middlesex.
