Established in 1944, this organization has dedicated itself to meeting the unique needs of every child requiring their care for over 76 years. Situated on six acres of land, generously deeded to them by the City of Sacramento, the Children's Receiving Home offers a continuum of care that includes a preschool for young survivors of family trauma, outpatient mental health services for children in the community struggling with anxiety and depression, and residential treatment for children who have endured abuse, neglect, or other forms of trauma.
