## Description

Crickmer Farms is a family-focused tree farm and nursery in historic Fayette County, West Virginia, listed among the state’s Choose-and-Cut Christmas tree farms. The farm offers visitors the opportunity to select and cut their own Christmas tree, with varieties including Fraser, Canaan and Concolor firs, as well as Serbian spruce. Trees range from 5 to 18 feet tall, and precut trees are also available during the Christmas season. To make choosing and carrying a tree easier, the farm provides bow saws, drag sleds, measuring poles and assistance when needed.

Crickmer Farms also sells fresh Fraser fir wreaths in various sizes, garland, nursery trees in 2- to 3-foot grow bags and other holiday greenery. Its Christmas Shoppe is open during the choose-and-cut season, when visitors can also enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and candy canes for children. A member of the West Virginia Christmas Tree Growers Association, the farm participates in efforts to support the industry and environment. It has also helped provide Christmas trees for West Virginia State Capitol displays.
